https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57502 --- Comment #1 from Rafał Mużyło <galtgendo(a)o2.pl> --- First of all wine 8.5 is too old. Second, attach rest of the output. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57502 --- Comment #2 from Rafał Mużyło <galtgendo(a)o2.pl> --- ^ That is to say: 8.5 would only be interesting, if the program worked back then. ...and the request is for output from the recent wine. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Does `winetricks arial` help?
Yes, it does look like bug 32342 or bug 29384. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57502 --- Comment #6 from stormtrackertony(a)gmail.com --- I tried "winetricks arial" but that did not solve the problem. I posted the 8.5 backtrace because 9.22 did not give a backtrace. I can post the terminal output of 9.22 if that helps (see newest attachment). Thanks again for the help and suggestions! -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

This workaround allows it to come up to a fully rendered login screen. I'm not sure if this issue is already a subject of an existing bug report. I'll note also that the login screen defaults to Chinese, but I apparently didn't have the proper fonts for the strings to render properly, as all characters just render as square boxes. The dropdown above the login button allows changing the language to English. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
