for 'GSGE.Code.GUI.Fonts' threw an exception. --->
System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for
'GSGE.Localization' threw an exception. ---> System.ArgumentException: Culture
name 'ga-ie' is not supported.

I may be reading it wrong, but it appears XNA doesn't support ga-ie. Can you
try a more common locale? Say EN-US.UTF-8?

Does it work under Windows with a Irish Gaelic locale?

As far as I know I don't even have ga-ie installed. I'm using en-us:

$ locale
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
