You can see it by running 'wine --version' in the terminal. A long time ago there was bug 10005 for Ever17 in Wine with the same problems, but that was fixed in wine 1.1.11 in the end of 2008. I can't confirm the problem on amd64 Linux with Wine 1.7.11 running here. I actually just tried the right click trick. Unfortunately, while I could get past the logos this time and the intro movie itself played when I tried going past that - either through letting the intro movie finish or by right clicking - it crashed.
