Now that I can actually get into Approach, I have been using it all day. I have five bugs to report. (I am presuming you want them on different reports.) I am running the native msvcrt. sh -c "cd /home/wine/drive_c/lotus/approach; WINEDEBUG=+loaddll WINEDLLOVERRIDES=msvcrt=n /usr/local/bin/wine ./approach.exe" Bug number two: the scroll wheel is totally ignored (works in all other Linux apps.). It is a real pain in the neck. The scroll wheel DOES work in my XP. So a lot of head scratching went on. Then I remembered a popular utility that is a necessity to run Approach called "Fly Wheel". This give Approach the ability to use the scroll wheel. And Approach is a TOTAL PAIN IN THE NECK to use without the scroll wheel. And "Fly Wheel" does not work in Wine. Would you please change this ticket to "Enhancement". Enhancement request: please add "Scroll Wheel" support to "Lotus Approach", similar to that provided by "Fly Wheel" in Windows XP. Please give this the appropriate PAIN IN THE NECK priority. Many thanks, -T p.s. It can be kind of hard to find on the Internet because the author retired from it. To register it: Go to Control Panel, Mouse, "Fly Wheel" tab, click on "Registration Info". DO NOT attach not free software - you do not have rights to distribute it.
This is "Abandonware" and is free. The author had a page stating so several years ago but has taken it down since.
