Didn't know about this option until now. The frame rate is pretty impressive and smooth in some places, but when it gets busy it can get very slow. "AlwaysOffscreen" = "enabled" is a very good fix. Didn't know about this option until now.
It was introduced in Wine 1.3.27, so it's very new. There's of course still a real bug somewhere, this is just a workaround. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Ah that would explain it then! I've replaced my 1.3.27 test data and upped the game to a bronze rating. As workaround's go, it's a pretty decent one, I have the feeling however that my gfx cards power (being a gtx 580) masks how slow it probably will be for a lot of people. Rolling with WINE 1.3.36 and the game **is** very playable on a lowly 8800GTX (with the graphical fixes and raw-input patch). I compiled WINE-git with the -march=opteron flag and it's made a big difference! The game is very playable.
