What issue? What can't read your mind nor see your monitor.

Upgrade to latest Wine - wine-1.1.8 and try again.

What video card, video driver version?

Distribution = Ubuntu 8.04
Desktop Environment = GNOME 2.22
Wine Version = 1.1.10

My Video card, is a NVIDIA GeForce 440 with AGP8X, with a resolution of
1152X864.

Issues:
- The Intro and the movies are Slower (I Use this game on the same computer
with Windows XP SP3 and i get excellent graphics.

- The Konami logo is darker than the Windows XP version

- When the intro finishes, I get a black screen (I Can hear the sound) where i
can't see the Menu Still I Can manage the game.

Works fine for me. The logo is as bright as in windows, no slowdown and no
black screen.
