http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24059 --- Comment #7 from Phillip <winehq(a)mrphlip.com> 2010-08-22 09:49:17 --- A workaround: download the updates manually by opening C:\Program Files\StarCraft II\*.torrent in a bittorrent client and saving the files to C:\Program Files\StarCraft II\Updates\whatever (if there's a whatever.part file in there, delete it). Then when you run the game, it'll pick up the updates from there instead of trying (and failing) to download them itself. There only seems to be one update file that it's failing for... most of them it's able to get without problems. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

If you let it run for enough time to finish the download it'll apply just fine after restarting the game. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Ok, now I feel like an idiot :P I just looked through the terminal output from starting the updater and found this: err:wincodecs:JpegDecoder_CreateInstance Failed reading JPEG because unable to find libjpeg.so.8 After I installed the lib32 version of that library, everything worked perfect! -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
