[Bug 41955] New: Guild of Dungeoneering presents a black screen unless using wine-staging
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41955 Bug ID: 41955 Summary: Guild of Dungeoneering presents a black screen unless using wine-staging Product: Wine Version: 1.9.24 Hardware: x86-64 URL: https://www.gog.com/game/guild_of_dungeoneering OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: from_wine_bugzilla(a)ssokolow.com Distribution: Ubuntu Guild of Dungeoneering is an Adobe AIR-based game which refuses to progress beyond an empty black window on a fresh Wine 1.9.24 prefix and appears to consume all idle CPU time while doing so. (But without fighting with other applications to consume an entire core as is more common) However, it will run perfectly under wine-staging 1.9.23 with CSMT enabled and, with CSMT disabled, will scramble up the draw order, resulting in flickering and invisible UI elements. I've tested both 32-bit and 64-bit Wine prefixes and it appears to make no difference aside from the 64-bit prefix adding a crash on exit. I don't know which kinds of logs would be appropriate to attach in a situation like this. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Could you add the terminal output (as an attachment) you receive from when you start the game until you get to the black screen? -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
