There are 2 behaviors: - Initially after starting Warcraft 3: If the game gets minimized, another application gets started and then closed (for example winecfg) the window of Warcraft 3 does automatically recover. - After some time of playing Warcraft 3 (~1 hour): If the game gets minimized and another application gets started it fails. Is your wine version really 1.5.23?
Can you retest this bug against 1.8, 1.9 or 2.0 series of wine? The higher number the better.
Wine 1.5.23 was the version from the old ticket but the bug got retested against Wine 1.7.50.
