It stopped working as soon as Firefox started using out of process plugins. It's probably the same bug as Flash not working in Wine Firefox. It stopped working as soon as Firefox started using out of process plugins. To verify that, you may change dom.ipc.plugins.enabled in about:config and restart Firefox
