How do you try to install it? Post command line please.
Tried by running in ternimal: $ wine iepreview.msi which results in: wine: Bad EXE format for Z:\home\rich\Downloads\ie\iepreview.msi -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23485 --- Comment #3 from Nikolay Sivov <bunglehead(a)gmail.com> 2010-07-03 07:07:18 --- Then it's fine that it doesn't work. MSI isn't a executable file format. Use 'wine msiexec /i iepreview.msi', before that cd to installer directory. If you're running from ntfs/fat (windows) partition directly make sure you're able to execute files from it. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
