[Bug 12232] New: Orbit downloader runs but can't capture traffic
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12232 Summary: Orbit downloader runs but can't capture traffic Product: Wine Version: 0.9.58. Platform: PC URL: http://www.orbitdownloader.com/ OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: drraph(a)gmail.com Orbit downloader is an app to help download videos especially over tricky protocols like RTMP (which downloadhelper can't cope with). It runs ok in wine but doesn't see any traffic. Steps to reproduce problem: 1) Download and install orbit downloader 2) Make sure you have internet explorer installed 3) Run Grab.exe from orbit downloader install or from the Tools menu of Orbit Downloader 4) Open http://videolectures.net/gbr07_bunke_aqpa/ in IE and play video which amazingly does work in wine :) Nothing is captured by Grab. This is the same with videos from youtube for example. The only errors produced by Grab are err:listview:LISTVIEW_WindowProc unknown msg 204e wp=000003e8 lp=0034c384 I am on ubuntu 7.10 with wine 0.9.58. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12232 --- Comment #1 from Raphael <drraph(a)gmail.com> 2008-03-26 07:50:29 --- I tested the same process using firefox as orbit downloader provides a firefox plugin. The problem is exactly the same. In other words, everything works perfectly except that no url or traffic is captured as before and so you can't download the video. Can you try using wine's builtin IE? $ wine iexplore.exe http://www.google.com/ and click yes to install gecko. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12232 --- Comment #7 from Raphael <drraph(a)gmail.com> 2008-03-26 16:06:27 --- I did that and then did wine iexplore.exe http://videolectures.net/gbr07_bunke_aqpa/ with exactly the same result. I.e. orbit downloader does not manage to sniff the address. The only difference is the number of fixme's that iexplore.exe gives. wine iexplore.exe http://videolectures.net/gbr07_bunke_aqpa/ fixme:spoolsv:serv_main (0 (nil)) fixme:ole:CoResumeClassObjects stub fixme:system:SetProcessDPIAware stub! err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {4955dd33-b159-11d0-8fcf-00aa006bcc59} not registered err:ole:CoGetClassObject no class object {4955dd33-b159-11d0-8fcf-00aa006bcc59} could be created for context 0x1 fixme:iphlpapi:NotifyAddrChange (Handle 0x7dbd79c8, overlapped 0x7dbd79ac): stub fixme:shdocvw:ClOleCommandTarget_QueryStatus (0x12d7bc)->((null) 1 0x33e548 (nil)) fixme:shdocvw:ClOleCommandTarget_Exec (0x12d7bc)->((null) 25 2 0x33e570 (nil)) fixme:shdocvw:ClOleCommandTarget_Exec (0x12d7bc)->((null) 26 2 0x33e570 (nil)) fixme:shdocvw:ClientSite_GetContainer (0x12d7bc)->(0x33e5bc) fixme:shdocvw:ClOleCommandTarget_Exec (0x12d7bc)->({000214d1-0000-0000-c000-000000000046} 37 0 0x33e6c0 (nil)) fixme:shdocvw:HttpNegotiate_BeginningTransaction (0x12e518)->(L"" L"" 0 0x33e63c) fixme:shdocvw:ClOleCommandTarget_Exec (0x12d7bc)->((null) 29 2 0x33fc90 (nil)) fixme:shdocvw:DocHostUIHandler_GetDropTarget (0x12d7bc) fixme:shdocvw:ClientSite_GetContainer (0x12d7bc)->(0x33fb1c) fixme:shdocvw:InPlaceFrame_SetStatusText (0x12d7bc)->(0xb7e26b74) fixme:shdocvw:ClOleCommandTarget_Exec (0x12d7bc)->((null) 25 2 0x33fa30 (nil)) fixme:shdocvw:ClOleCommandTarget_Exec (0x12d7bc)->((null) 26 2 0x33fa30 (nil)) fixme:shdocvw:ClOleCommandTarget_Exec (0x12d7bc)->((null) 21 2 (nil) (nil)) fixme:shdocvw:ClOleCommandTarget_Exec (0x12d7bc)->((null) 28 2 0x33fb00 (nil)) fixme:bidi:mirror stub: mirroring of characters not yet implemented err:ntlm:SECUR32_initNTLMSP ntlm_auth was not found or is outdated. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12232 --- Comment #8 from Raphael <drraph(a)gmail.com> 2008-03-26 16:34:42 --- So... I completely removed .wine so that there would be no remnants of ies4linux left and then used the iexplore.exe line above and then ran Orbit Downloader. Same problem. Tested with latest Orbit downloader (2.8.1), wine 1.10 and Windows firefox 3.0.5. This time I had to copy msvcp60.dll to system32 to get Orbit to run at all. If there is any debugging info I can provide please let me know.
