I get the same crash with older Wine versions as well (1.2.3, pre-1.0). To install the demo I used Wine-1.4 because of bug #30182. If the game actually displays the icon somewhere, it won't be the right one because we're still missing some icons from 0 to 137, so our 138th icon does not correspond to Windows's 138th icon.
