Check your xorg.conf. It seems to have some more problems after that (Gameguard copy protection, which is still flaky under wine).
I fixed the nvidia driver bug with the well known Option "DynamicTwinView" "false" workaround. The game is free. Are you sure that there is a copyprotection inside? I created a new crashlog an attached it. As for your crash, can you see if a native gdi32.dll works around it?
Where can i get a native gdi32.dll? I own some Windows licences but dont have a running windows installation.
