From debug-log:
0009:fixme:winediag:dxgi_check_feature_level_support None of the requested D3D feature levels is supported on this GPU with the current shader backend. . . . 0009:Call wined3d.wined3d_mutex_unlock() ret=7d04dacb 0009:Ret wined3d.wined3d_mutex_unlock() retval=00000000 ret=7d04dacb 0009:Ret d3d10_1.D3D10CreateDevice1() retval=80004005 ret=7d082a67 Then trouble begins My GPU is really crappy, so maybe that might be the problem. (VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (primary) (rev 03)) If I run like for example WINEDLLOVERRIDES=d3d11,d3dcore=d wine PDS.EXE the problem is gone. I guess one of the d3d-guys should look into this. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Bug 38648 has a workaround for this, I also need it with rx 480.
I tried the hack from that bug to force shader model 4 and it works around the access violation, though the GUI is black now, but that`s probably because it`s a hack. I guess this is really a dupe of thyat bug; if someone with could try it with a more decent GPU i guess we could resolve this as a duplicate -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. I tested the bug without any tricks involved I get the crash mentioned at title, then with the trick from Bug 38648 and retry and there is no such issue. After using the trick console has this line so it was succefully done. err:winediag:wined3d_dll_init Setting maximum allowed wined3d GL version to 3.2.
