Confirmed this bug with up-to-date Steam & AVP - using WINE 1.3.19.
I've a compile version of 1.3.20. Can't get AVP to start using that. (So a separate bug perhaps?)

Yes. Patching for raw mouse input (in Wine Git 1.3.35) appears to sort the problem out. AvP mouse input works well with the patch (very smooth/full character rotation). Any chance this patch could get integrated? Perhaps with a WINE registry key setting?
