Installing corefonts with winetricks fixes the crash for me and then everything seems to work fine. It seems to start just fine if the corefonts are installed. I also tested this with Wine 7.4 now instead of Wine 7.3. Are you sure this is some kind of regression? Installing corefonts with winetricks fixes the crash for me and then everything seems to work fine. I tested with wine-7.4 in 64bit prefix set to WinXP.
I have corefonts installed system-wide (ttf-ms-fonts on AUR), so i didn't had to install corefonts. If it wasn't for another bug in my system wich i didn't identified yet, i could run it out-of-the-box I suggest to rename this bug report with "(needs corefonts)" -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
