http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13883 Kevin Stange <bugzilla(a)simguy.net> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |bugzilla(a)simguy.net --- Comment #8 from Kevin Stange <bugzilla(a)simguy.net> 2009-08-27 23:11:41 --- This issue affects Quicktime, Apple Software Update, iTunes, and Bonjour, which all use the same basic MSI design. I would suggest updating the subject. I'm going to tag this bug to each of those applications. The effective problem is that selecting uninstall, even in a completely clean .wine will process the install script, after prompting to confirm you really want to uninstall the application. It seems as though the installer is running the wrong script. Upgrading the application using a new installation seems to also fail to remove the old version from Add/Remove programs, which may be related to being unable to invoke an uninstall. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13883 --- Comment #10 from Kevin Stange <bugzilla(a)simguy.net> 2009-10-22 16:25:51 --- I just attempted to add back bug links to all the affected AppDB entries for these packages again. Even though they were all accepted, they got inexplicably removed. In case someone removed them thinking it was spam and reads this bug, I did actually verify the installers were impacted by this bug and I still suggest changing the bug title to indicate "Apple" instead of "Quicktime" since it basically affects all Apple products for Windows. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
