If I test the event handling as root with the following command: evtest /dev/input/event8 -> this has the following output: Input driver version is 1.0.0 Input device ID: bus 0x3 vendor 0x127f product 0xe008 version 0x100 Input device name: "IPACS Ikarus Gamecommander" etc. and it reacting correctly to the usb commander events reps. it is responding to the axes-movements of the usb commander. the command: cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Programme\IPACS\AeroFly\ Professional\ Deluxe
WINEDEBUG=+dinput wine flyrun.exe > dinput.log 2>&1

wine: created the configuration directory '/root/.wine' First of all - do not run Wine as root! It will create loads of conflicts!
Does it work with any other joysticks? Describe exactly what happens? Thanks. First of all - please see the new attachment dinput debug log new. I am sorry, but I don't have a common usb joystick. This application needs an usb radio control for model aircraft called usb game commander, which is delivered together with the simulator. After the start with wine all seems to be ok according to the log appearance in aerofly professional deluxe (afpd) terminal. Could be either program looking for a particular device name, or that Wine doesn't properly support 7-axes device.
