I tried this application in clean wine, but is pretty unstable here even in 1.1.40, so i'm not reliably able to tell which commit is good.
hi. in wine 1.1.40 it's quite usabe (also in FTP mode) only if you disable the "Auto detect the utf-8 file" if i remember well. I retested it in wine-1.3.29-121-gfdda702 and it's still working.
