Strangely enough, the bug is only present when *using the touchpad to move the mouse cursor, it does *not* manifest when using a regular mouse. I'll try to test it in other machines and see what I have. The USB mouse works perfectly. The behavior is still exclusive to the use of a touchpad." I can't find a bug more specific to this issue so I assume this is the appropriate bug. Let me know if there is one that just refers to the mouse jumping problem. Confirming that I have no control over the mouse cursor, it jumps around erratically. This is with Age of Wonders from GoG.com in Mac OS X 10.6.8 on MacBook Pro. As of .26 I can no-longer see both cursors (before I could see the X cursor which was the real one, and the game's own cursor which was accelerating away from the real cursor far too quickly which is what is causing these problems). Even if I get the cursor above the button, despite the flickering, when I press it, the cursor jumps around by a certain offset. The offset is fixed during the runtime of the game, so I can try to estimate it and move the mouse away from the button by the inverse of the offset, but that's really cumbersome... it might be related that I am playing in windowed mode. Wine ends up sending two events down the chain, including to dinput. One with data from xi2 another from motion notify. The only reason it some how works in dinput, is one gets turned into 0 delta because of desynchronization between real CursorPos and what's reported by wineserver. Sometimes they cancel each-other, because of delayed cursor position upgrades (those TickCount() > last_updated stuff). Which on it's own is completely wrong as well, and result in wild mouse jumps. Which is _the_ real problem here, due to big time gaps between touch pad position changes.
