Can you provide a full log?
Also, you're using wine-staging. Is it different for vanilla wine?
No, I cannot. That is the only type of log that it provides. As far as vanilla wine. I don't know what you mean by "vanilla" Do you mean regular wine vs "staging" or "development"? If you mean regular wine then I don't know if it is any different from it vs "staging" or "development" -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. There's vanilla (regular) wine, and wine-staging. wine-staging is vanilla wine with a bunch of changes on top. Please test if the same issue appears with vanilla wine. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. After researching the Rift Forums I failed to realize that I had to open up the winecfg and choose for the Windows Version for the applications to be run under. I chose Windows 7 for it. So, all the different .exe files that I use I selected Windows 7 to utilize them and I can now play Rift with absolutely no problems. Now I know and this has been a ver valuable learning experience for me. Prior to selecting the Windows Version, I was using Default Settings for everything which is why it was screwing up. Now I know better. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46268 --- Comment #5 from Fabian Maurer <dark.shadow4(a)web.de> --- Win7 is the default setting though. Can you test if it works in a fresh WINEPREFIX, aka a clear .wine folder? -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
