Furthermore, background colors get altered in a few seconds: when X is at 16 bpp the background fades to dark green, when X is in 24 bpp mode the background gets saturated. Also try to set the game to use software rendering. I tried both software rendering and hardware rendering but the issue still raises. No problem for me in current git with the demo (NVidia geforce 7600 go, driver 260.19.36). This bug should be noted as FIXED.
