I have performed a new install of messenger on a fresh prefix per the instructions of one of your tech's named louis. Installation appears to finish and gives a false message that it was successful but in the middle of the installation wine gives an error and after installation the application does not work. I have enclosed a copy of the terminal output of this install per instructions of vitallity. Make sure that ntlm_auth >= 3.0.25 is in your path. err:ntlm:SECUR32_initNTLMSP Usually, you can find it in the winbind package of your distribution. Yahoo messenger version?
Based on bug 20721 i assume yahoo messenger 10. So i downloaded 10.0.0.1102 and i see following problems here: 1. Another badness is this three weeks long window between release of 1.1.32 and 1.1.33. Needed more than 68 git bisect skip and finally i was told, that bad commit is inside cca 30 commits :-/ So had to begin again with narrow commit space. But finally... 1. Confirming, please consider UNCONFIRMED->NEW and KEYWORDS: +REGRESSION, +DOWNLOAD 2. The results was another broken installation. Application opens but is not functional. Please fellows look further into this issue.
