When I run a D3D9 game with wine, I found instead of GPU usage, but CPU usage was very high. After some logging in custom build of wined3d, I found that the software-accelerated LLVMPipe GPU was selected, instead of the D3D12 Backend. Just out of curiosity, what is the usecase for running a game under WSL under Wine?
1. because we can :) 2. for several old games that uses old graphics API, I saw much compatibility / performance benefits on latest Wine, than latest Windows. 3. future global enhancement in wine patches, like FSR/NIS upscaling for EVERY game. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
