Please verify that without this patch everything works and with this patch it fails. This gave me the two borders inside I was searching. This mistake didn't happen in v1.1.37, but in v1.1.38. So is somewhere between. Hi Austin! I open my test-QXD-file 'Testdatafile QuarkXPress Passport 7.0r0' and saved the console-output to the file 'gdiplus.txt'. This file in original has a size of 131 MByte. To save upload ressources I compress it with tar/gzip. Due the limitations of sizes about files to upload here I store this file on my server. Only with a workaround, setting gdiplus.dll to native windows binary is working. With some glitches, as you can see here on my screenshot. I used 'WINEDEBUG=fixme-all,trace+gdiplus' to get it. The original size was 670 MiByte. I cuted away some repetitions where a bitcounter was counting my pixel which means: by my resolution of 1280x1024 I had 3,338,861 Pixel. In the log there are lines like: --- trace:gdiplus:GdipBitmapGetPixel 0x2ac8c90 0 5 0x1b5f2af8 trace:gdiplus:GdipTransformMatrixPoints (0x2ac8d10, 0x33e214, 1) --- which counts '0x2ac8c90 0 5 0x1b5f2af8' to '0x2ac8c90 0 6 0x1b5f2af8' in the next but one line. And so on. You will find it seven times - is marked with 'cuted away nnnnnn lines' with five empty lines before and after. NOTE: I did a regression test with 'The Bat!' and found a similar behaviour. Alexandre supposed a problem with the graphical driver. See his comment here (bug 21972, comment 15). Hope this will help. Sorry Vincent. My harddisk died some weeks ago including my Quark installation. Until I will finish mey reconfiguration from backups and so on I will need some time. But its in the ToDo list. Thanks! Running with wine 1.3.27 there is some little success: when I load a file, I can see its contents in Quarks main window. But when I click into it, the content disappear. Quarks frames around the text columns are visible, but they are empty or rather to say the text inside is invisible. If you need a more sophisticated logfile, than please tell me, which debug channels you need. I will than upload again this stuff. Now this is simply what I caught in the console. This happens by mouse and by using the keyboard. If someone need a regression testing or more debugging info, please tell me which debug channels I have to activate. This happens by mouse and by using the keyboard. -the original issue (empty frames) which gives this bug its name is now gone. ¿Should I file a new bug with the actual problem? If someone need a regression testing or more debugging info, please tell me which debug channels I have to activate. At the moment I didn't have time to do more than this.
