http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=33333 --- Comment #1 from Rosanne DiMesio <dimesio(a)earthlink.net> 2013-04-04 12:27:53 CDT --- Powerpoint 2007 starts up fine on my system in 1.5.27 with the override for riched20. Try reinstalling to a clean wineprefix, and set the override for riched20 before you attempt to run Powerpoint the first time. The prompt about safe mode on subsequent attempts is not a bug; Powerpoint is supposed to do that after a failed attempt to start. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=33333 --- Comment #2 from Mavi <spatialmodels(a)gmail.com> 2013-04-05 02:46:50 CDT --- Dear Rosanne, Thank you for answering me so quickly. Indeed I've installed office 2007 twice on a clean prefix adding the riched20 tweak in post installation, but the issue still remains. I'm considering other factors that could determine this malfunction: - I've used an installer on the hard disk and not on CD-Rom; - I've created a new prefix through pyWinery; - I've another prefix with office 2010 in trial mode; - I'm using unity environment under which neither powerpoint 2010 doesn't start. In gnome classic pp2010 starts, but pp2007 not.. what a strange behaviour! The other office application (word, excel, access) seem to work normally. Well maybe it's not a bug, but I have to understand how to resolve this issue!!
