It installed OK on my Ubuntu 9.10 system, and I can open it, and open files within it, but immediately upon closing J2GPLUS.EXE errors, posts a warning that I need to check configuration settings at winehq.org and then proceeds to close without any collateral damage or other incident. (You need an account at efax.com: I can't check that) Various errors came up, including a missing Implementation for shdocvw:PersistStreamInit_InitNew, an usupported CLSID (3050f3d9-98b5-11cf-bb82-00aa00bdce0b is MSHTML Document), errors when calling ITypeInfo_fnInvoke and when the dialog is canceled, a heap corruption Problem is visible. (see attached log) eFax installs a virtual Printer. Printing to the eFax Printer will not work in Wine for a long Time (the DIB engine is needed: bug #421) -- By by ...
