Screenshot of the workspace into which you switch into

When you switch workplaces from the one that has starcraft running, to an empty
workspace. The workspace into which you have switched into has a very small
resolution.

Of course it would - Wine uses xrandr to change display resolution. If you
don't like this behavior you can tell Wine to use XVidMode. And submit
enhancement request for your window manager to support different display
resolutions for different workspaces.
