[Bug 19199] New: EPIM showing two windows
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19199 Summary: EPIM showing two windows Product: Wine Version: 1.1.25 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: saverio.pub(a)inbox.com This bug happens frequently, but I haven't a fixed set of steps to reproduce it. To reproduce it, just do some operations involving the opening of popups, like adding events and so on; possibly, switch workspaces in the meanwhile. After a while, even if you close a popup, you will see that there is a second EPIM task in the windows list (taskbar, whatever). You can also see that the second task corresponds to a micro-window, of the same type I referred in another EPIM-related bug. System: Karmic alpha 2; used to happen with Jaunty as well. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

You are using an Alpha distro, does this occur on a stable distro? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19199 --- Comment #2 from Saverio Miroddi <saverio.pub(a)inbox.com> 2009-07-11 17:27:23 --- Hello, the version is 2.81. I requested the file to the authors, because it's a now obsolete version (relatively, because the 3.0 doesn't work at all on wine) and the download has been removed. As for Ubuntu, I'll update this report in a couple of weeks, when I'll revert back to the Ubutnu stable. I think it used to show on the stable version as well, but I'll confirm on reinstall. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19199 --- Comment #5 from Saverio Miroddi <saveriuspublicus(a)aim.com> 2010-09-12 03:55:44 CDT --- I can't reproduce the bug anymore on Wine 1.3.2 - there isn't anymore a second icon in the taskbar. If I change workspace with an EPIM task window open (which previously caused a second icon to appear in the taskbar) and then go back, I find the situation as it was before changing workspace - this is appropriate behavior. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
