In the debug output, the following line is printed:
wine-pthread: run.c:144: ME_RunOfsFromCharOfs: 
              Assertion `nCharOfs >= nParaOfs' failed.

In the file: dlls/riched20/run.c, the function: void ME_RunOfsFromCharOfs()
contains the following comment:
/* the handling of bEmulateVersion10 may be a source of many bugs, I'm afraid */

This might be an indication of the problem experienced.
