Mouseover effect in Win XP

When using the Microsoft Zune theme in Wine (download:
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=75078) the button mouseover animation
(yellow frame) is missing.
I did not try with other themes, but my guess would be it is a general theming
problem.

Using BCGSofts' mfc examples to illustrate the problem:
1) Download the examples
(http://www.bcgsoft.com/download/BCGControlBarProDemo.zip)
2) Run ListCtrlDemo.exe
