Airline Tycoon uses a fixed 640X480 resolution. When you start the game in a virtual desktop sized anything higher than that (800X600, 1024X768 etc) the area of the virtual desktop beyond 640X480 is black. Reverting commits 290fd532ee7376442d272e3833528256bfe5e9dc bf0813e39470c5682c784b1db9812fb4ff5e13cc fix the problem for me. This commit however has an undesirable side-effect: after exiting a game on Steam that uses a lower resolution than my desktop is set, the original resolution of the virtual desktop is not restored, resulting in a cropped virtual desktop.
