From your log: > Wine build: wine-2.20 (Staging)
So you`re *not* running wine-4.4 (Staging) like you said. This function is implemented in wine-4.x. Please fix your installation (maybe purge wine and reinstall) and report back please. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46921 --- Comment #3 from Andre <andre(a)basel.co.nz> --- Not too sure about all the command so will list what I did sudo dnf remove wine sudo dnf install wine This installed wine-filesystem-4.4-1.fc29.noarch plus all other files. I then installed playonlinux sudo dnf install playonlinux Installed the script through playonlinux and get the same error just towards the end of the installation. Maybe I am not purging Wine correctly. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Not too sure about all the command so will list what I did
sudo dnf remove wine sudo dnf install wine
This installed wine-filesystem-4.4-1.fc29.noarch plus all other files.
I then installed playonlinux
sudo dnf install playonlinux
Installed the script through playonlinux and get the same error just towards the end of the installation.
Maybe I am not purging Wine correctly.
I`m not familiar with PlayonLinux. Maybe it comes with it`s own wine-version , i think that is really the case. PlayOnLinux is really not supported here, Can you get rid of the crash by changing windowsversion to WinXP (in winecfg?) -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46921 --- Comment #5 from Andre <andre(a)basel.co.nz> --- Unfortunately not; changing Windows version does not help. I have no uninstalled PlayOnLinux and am looking for another method to install Adobe Cloud. Will be able to report back once I have worked that out. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Ok that`s fine. In the meanwhile I`ll resolve this as a duplicate, but please feel free to reopen if you still run into trouble after trying in a clean WINEPREFIX with wine-4,x.
