https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56982 --- Comment #2 from vc <vcifello(a)hotmail.com> --- Thanks for the quick response. This is my first attempt using wine. Thanks for the quick response. This is my first attempt using wine. I assume that I will need to install winetricks.
Is that correct?
You can use winetricks to install mfc40, yes; see https://wiki.winehq.org/Winetricks
MBP ~ % wine /Users/vincentcifello/.wine/drive_c/Wincupl/Shared/cupl.exe -mljswu /Users/vincentcifello/.wine/drive_c/Wincupl/Shared/Atmel.dl /Users/vincentcifello/.wine/drive_c/temp/cupltest.pld
Additionally, you are passing Unix paths to a windows application, which it probably doesn't know how to interact with. Try using windows paths instead. Something like: $ cd /Users/vincentcifello/.wine/drive_c/Wincupl/Shared/ $ wine cupl.exe -mljswu "$(winepath -w /Users/vincentcifello/.wine/drive_c/Wincupl/Shared/Atmel.dl)" "$(winepath -w /Users/vincentcifello/.wine/drive_c/temp/cupltest.pld)" -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Thank you for taking the time to help with such an elementary issue. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
