According to AppDB "-C" disables the compressed textures. Then the textures are shown normally. This is what I did: Tested with wine-devel 1.9.8 and the problem was the same. No textures without the -C command line arg. Then I wanted to test winehq-staging 1.9.8 which I did by running `sudo apt install winehq-staging`. But then the game did not even start but crashed before entering the main menu just after the logo videos. So I tried winehq-devel again and it also crashes now. I also uninstalled every package which was installed together with winehq-staging. But still also winehq-devel crashes now :-/ I am on Ubuntu 16.04 meanwhile. So now it does not crash any more in winehq-devel but still shows the texture bug. So now it does not crash any more in winehq-devel but still shows the texture bug.
