Construct is a game creation application. http://www.scirra.com/ - requires DirectX9 DLLs to be set to native for installer to work. Using a copy physically installed on a Windows XP-running partition. Opening a project using the keyboard shortcut (the menu system is non-responsive) causes a crash.
