Hi, the game just exits with the attached console output. I ran with 
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="msvcrt,dinput=n" wine weird.exe
to get around two other bugs. In wine-0.9.15 the game ran fine using same
command. This is likely due to ddraw rewrite.
