But the brightness option in game menu is now available and operationnal. By configuring correctly the brightness, after launching the game, it works correctly and there is no more problems. After exiting the game and restart it, there is either no problem : settings are retained. So the initial problem seems to be due to a bad default brightness setting, at lauching the game for the first time. The brightness settings are too dark. The second problem mentionned previously (the contrast remains dark after ending the game) is due to another bug : brightness settings apply themselves to the desktop (bug #18391). Sometime the programme works without any problems, sometimes not. I'm running Wine 1.7.50 and there is some issue about brightness adjustement. Sometime the programme works without any problems, sometimes not. I figured out, that the command wineboot reduces the risk of wrong adjustments (or it is just a unhappy coincidence).
