Why are you using sudo?
Restart with a clean ~/.wine and retry.
Umm... desperation...? Okay - renamed ~/.wine and let wine rebuild it, and now I get an "Access Violation at 00652A2A. Write of address B835B0C4". Getting this to work isn't a big deal, but every once in awhile I'll see the cheesy little key chain photo viewer sitting there and decide to poke it with a stick to see what happens.
