I am having trouble with Morrowind after the last patch.  I was using 9.48 and
Morrowind played fine.  I just installed 9.49 and the game locks after about 35
minutes and the sound hangs when creating a new character.  I have no inventory
portrait or map but that is an old issue.  I am mainly worried about the game
locking up and the sound hangs.

Please perform a regression testing as described here:
http://wiki.winehq.org/RegressionTesting

Also don't forget to specify your OS, Hardware, Video card, video drivers
version.

I started to do some regression testing but cannot get the wine build(In reply

I am having trouble doing regression testing.  After entering CC="ccache gcc"
./configure && make clean && make and letting it run a good thirty minutes, i
Get this:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lXext

I don't know what to do now.  My OS is Ubuntu 7.10.  AMD Anthlon XP 2500+  1gb
RAM Nvidia Geforce 4200 (I believe).

Ignore this issue as I have figured it out.  I turned out it was a
plugin data issue that was running alongside the morrowind primary
data.  Easily solved.
