[Bug 13446] New: Joining certain servers crashes Counter Strike: Source
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13446 Summary: Joining certain servers crashes Counter Strike: Source Product: Wine Version: 1.0-rc2 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: moabrahams(a)dashavoo.com Created an attachment (id=13355) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=13355) Back trace Certain servers seem to crash Counter Strike: Source. When I join I get to where the servers MOTD would usually appear. I get an egg timer thing next to the mouse pointer, nothing shows up in the text box, and then between 10 and 30 seconds later the game just exits back to steam. Back Trace is attached. This is reproducible for me every time I attempt to join one server in particular, but most servers work fine. hl2.exe is running with wine set to windows 98 to avoid another bug. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13446 --- Comment #3 from Mo Abrahams <moabrahams(a)dashavoo.com> 2008-06-01 11:33:22 --- My apologies, I thought it worked like a mailing list. The server is " [DV] DK 1000/1000Mbit *HLStatsX* ", 86.58.133.99:27015 I updated to the newest wine release and the problem still occurs. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

The servers that cause the crash have HTML MOTDs, eg the Internode servers in Australia. Servers with plain text MOTDs, eg iiNet's servers don't crash. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Fixed then. File a new bug for the box issue. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
