[Bug 58195] New: Rocket League window becomes unmapped during startup
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58195 Bug ID: 58195 Summary: Rocket League window becomes unmapped during startup Product: Wine Version: 10.5 Hardware: x86-64 OS: FreeBSD Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: winex11.drv Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: sean-freebsd(a)farley.org At startup of Rocket League, the window starts minimized, for whatever reason, then actually becomes unmapped as it disappears from the Fluxbox dock. However, it is still there because I can use xdotool to map it. I even wrote a script to start Rocket League then search and activate it using xdotool before it disappears. Reverting https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/commit/4c07e5568e5c70a7899839ab85dee68... fixes this for 10.5. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58195 --- Comment #9 from zlice <zlice(a)crtdrift.us> --- Sorry to be pedantic, but how is this NOT wine bug? It was introduced due to a hack-fix for another wm. The wm worked fine for decades. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58195 --- Comment #10 from Gijs Vermeulen <gijsvrm(a)gmail.com> --- (In reply to zlice from comment #9) Nothing was fixed inside wine. If this would be marked FIXED, it would show as a bug that was fixed with the upcoming wine release, which is not actually the case. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
