After loading introduction cinematic, the rest of the game, including the menu,
displays white light only.

This is the original Diablo, CD and all, and patched to version 1.09.

Shareware verison results

Surprisingly, the shareware version did not have the same results. The menu
loads all right, in fact, more than all right, it's perfect!
