Your test is wrong, this commit doesn't have any functional changes. Did you try to revert it and test again?

So I downloaded msi.dll and placed it in Program Files/Common Files/Microsoft Shared/OFFICE12 Set '/Program Files/Microsoft Office/Office12/Moc.EXE' msi.dll to native,builtin and it now kinda works in wine 1.1.44 (but not every time!)
