Thanks for advice, that driver works (all native games, including wine with counter strike 1.6 ogl). Same result can be reproduced with r300 (radeon RS690 with OpenSource driver, which work for many other cases too).
Open source drivers can work for some programs, but not for others. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22244 --- Comment #8 from okias <d.okias(a)gmail.com> 2010-04-05 05:41:27 --- Created an attachment (id=27217) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=27217) wine_log_with_mesa_debug.txt If it's mesa problem (look at log which follow this message), it should write mesa error (it say something like User error, which I guess mean problem in wine). Some day I hope in wine <-> mesa developers cooperation, but it's probably only dream :-( I understand that a lot of people use wine with proprietary nvidia/ati drivers, but some day it will be great, if 3D functionality could be provieded out-of-box. The result was tested on two different vendors with two different drivers (in case Nouveau - gallium infrastructure, in case Radeon - classic mesa). -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Yeah, although it wouldn't hurt to test this with current versions and debug symbols for everything involved (Wine, Mesa, libtxc-dxtn, all from git), and then get a good backtrace. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
