Using Kubuntu 19.10 it is now necessary to kill an active wineserver instance
by using the GUI, of System Monitor, right click the entry for wineserver and
click end process. wineserver -k or even sudo wineserver -k does not work.
There is no feedback printed to the terminal.

wineserver -k kills the server for the current prefix. Make sure your
WINEPREFIX variable matches the running wineserver.

Assuming invalid, please reopen if you can reproduce with the correct
WINEPREFIX.
