Lots of them are solved luckily, however there are still games which does not work without a crack. Whereunder in this case most of the digital/DVD games of techland. http://www.gamersgate.com/publisher/58/techland - Call of Juarez does work, but has different (newer Securom system) But the other games of them do not run without crack and that issue is there in all version of Wine: - GTI racing - Chrome - Chrome Specforce - FIM Speedway GP3 - Xpand Rally So altough Gamersgate claims that some of the above mentioned games are DRM free, it still fails witout crack. Please not if you need a specific debugrun + extensions what i need to run for you guys to get the issue clear for you guys. How are you so sure its the same issue?
Please run 'ProtectionId' on the affected games. If you have a game that uses drm that does not yet have a bug filed, please file a bug. Regarding demos, please test the drm issue there first. Ok Demo does not has the drm aboard. This demo works out of the box. To make it work we'll have to move half of wineserver into ntoskrnl and make it work like Windows kernel. Neither will ever be considered.
