Running winetest hangs the computer part of the way through. Mouse still moves, but can't SSH in/issue new commands/etc. Regression test shows it's the new twain_32 tests added commit 499603c360941ff60778f575ef76a3da9c32f5c1 Author: Jeremy White <jwhite(a)winehq.org> Date: Mon Jan 26 11:40:49 2009 -0600 twain_32: Add an initial test framework for twain_32.dll. I'm marking it as unconfirmed since the bug very well may be in the sane backend. But since it's blocks using winetest, figured Jeremy should have a look... There's no scanner attached, sane-config --version shows 1.0.19. When did "Computer hangs/crashes" became a blocker bugs? They were always invalid. Time to report to SUN...
The computer isn't fully hung. It blocks winetest from running, so at least give time for Jeremy to have a look, as it may be easy to work around. Mouse still moves, but can't SSH in/issue new commands/etc. If you can't ssh into it - it's dead.

Tried removing sane-backend from the package manager and it still hangs, so the bug is elsewhere (likely wine).
Seems it needed a restart. Without sane-backends, now works fine.
