When I click on 'View' and them 'Equalizer'. On my laptop (ubuntu 8.04 x86), equalizer can't work. But on my desktop (ubuntu 8.04 AMD64), it can work. This brings up the Equalizer window and all sliders are functional, and resizing seems to work okay as well. Adding an EQ to the left side of splitter surprisingly worked. Usually it just resizes to unusable huge.
